On Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, a lifelong Fresno resident, Jeffrey S. MacNeill was licensed as Minister of Youth at Cornelia Baptist Church in Fresno at a 5:30 p.m. service, followed by a reception lasting until at least 8 p.m.

Cornelia Ave. Both of Jeff's grandfathers took part in the service -- Richard Palmquist and Pastor Don MacNeill, pastor of Laton Community Church of the Brethren. Many of the youth of the church attended, along with other members and relatives.
Jeff, soon 20, is the oldest son of Steve and Carol MacNeill of Clovis, CA. He attends Fresno Pacific College. He has worked at the church since December 2005.
